👉👉A weblog or blog is a listing of text, images, or other objects that are arranged in a chronological order that first started appearing in 1998. Blogs are often maintained and run by a single individual, updated daily, or contain personal remarks about a topic, a personal ramble, or an update on the person's life. In many ways, many weblogs are like a personal journal or a look into another individual's life and can be a way to learn about people, events, places, and more from people around the world.In the following section, I will Introduce three possible ways that weblogs could be put to immediate use with ESL classroom learning.
😊Three types of weblogs for use in ESL classroom.
1. The tutor blog
this log is run by the tutor for the learners.
The purposes:
- It give daily reading practice to the learners: It is easy to learn more and
- It promotes exploration of English website: It made by the tutor for help the learner who reluctant to interesting English language sites will increase their confident and help to overcome their aversion.
- It provide class or syllabus information: It can use for remind students about homework or assignment and the tutor can discussion with the learner. Moreover, the tutor can put up
-the information link to the learners.
-It serves as a resource of links for self-study: The right and left margins of the blog, permanent link can be set-up and organized to aid the learner in self-study.
2.The learner blog
The purpose:
- It's the best suit for reading and writing classes.
- If individual, blog can be used as journals for writing practice, or as free-form templates for personal expression.
3.The class blog
This blog both the tutor and the learner can use it.
The purpose:
-In conversation-base classes: The learner can post messages, images, and links related to classroom discussion topics and they can post on a common them assigned for homework.
- For the advanced learners, It might also useful for facilitating project-based language learning.
-Used as a virtual space for an international classroom language exchange: The people around the world can comment or exchange the information together.
- For reading and writing classes: you can read in many webpage and the important lot of webpage there are free.
